Sign inIf you are planning a holiday check with your travel agent in case you need travel vaccination. It is best to complete your immunisations at least 6 weeks prior to travel. Not all injections can be given at the surgery e.g. Yellow Fever is done at specific clinics elsewhere in the city. Book your clinic appointment as soon as possible as you need to stagger your immunisation programme dependant on the country of travel. Not all countries require vaccination but the practice nurse can also offer advice on taking care in the sun, especially for young children, avoiding upset stomachs as well as general advice on travel sickness and safe sex.
