NHS 111 Service – This Service has replaced NHS Direct. This telephone line is managed by specially trained staff who can give you immediate information and friendly helpful advice on what to do and what not to do. You should use the 111 service if you need medical help urgently but it is not life threatening. It is a 24 hour service and is completely confidential.
